Data Collection

Scrawl Scan does not require an account. No email, password, or personal information is collected.
Scrawl Scan does not track your usage or behavior.
Scrawl Scan does not use any third-party analytics services.

Server Processing

Scanned images, transcriptions, and Ask sessions are sent to our servers for processing.
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Data is stored on our servers only long enough to complete processing and is then permanently deleted.
Your scans, transcriptions, and Ask sessions are not used for any other purpose, including training AI models.

Data Storage

All notes and transcriptions you create are stored locally on your device.
If you use iCloud, your data syncs via Apple's iCloud service. We do not have access to this data.

In-App Purchases

Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store.
We do not collect or store any payment information.

Children's Privacy

Scrawl Scan does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
